Therapy

Why Therapy?

Relationship therapy offers the opportunity to explore your relationship in a confidential and therapeutic environment. It provides a neutral space where you can work through the challenges you’re facing together. My approach encourages a deep exploration of your relationship, focusing on each person’s perspective and how you interact with one another.

Relationship therapy isn’t just for couples in crisis—it's a chance to identify patterns that no longer serve you, address communication issues, and find healthier ways to navigate life’s challenges.

Common issues that couples face include:

  • Fears that the spark has gone

  • Chronic conflict or constant arguments

  • Infidelity

  • Differing sex drives or intimacy concerns

  • Struggles with conception

  • Parenting disagreements

  • Adjusting to major life changes, such as illness or aging

  • Deciding whether to stay together or separate

How I Work

In my practice, I offer a committed, curious and compassionate space where you and your partner can explore your concerns openly. As an integrative practitioner, I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches to tailor my work to your unique needs. This flexibility allows me to respond to you both in a way that is aligned with where you are in your relationship and individual journeys.

I encourage open dialogue about your past and present experiences, helping to identify recurring patterns, beliefs, and their potential impact on your current relationship.

Throughout our work together, therapy will be a collaborative and creative process. I will offer insight, gently challenge you, or suggest alternative perspectives to help facilitate change, but I will always respect your autonomy. If appropriate, I may also introduce mindful or communicative exercises to explore together within your relationship.

No matter the issue, therapy provides a space to process emotions, gain insight, and rebuild communication, helping you regain clarity and move forward with greater understanding.

What Next?

Drop me a message to arrange an initial consultation session, I will be happy to hear from you.

I welcome heterosexual, LGBTQ+, and non-romantic couples (e.g. friends, colleagues, family) seeking to improve their relationships. Sessions are one hour long, and I ask for a weekly commitment, particularly in the early stages.

Couples therapy is a specialised area within therapy that requires additional training - in addition to my individual therapy qualifications found here, I am engaged in an advanced Post Graduate Diploma in Relationship Psychotherapy.
